Our English teachers recently explore new ways of integrating Values Education into our curriculum .
In our latest lessons, P.5 students have been learning Chinese table manners using a blend of modern and interactive techniques :
• AI Tool: Chatting with an AI elderly about the cultural etiquette.
• ”Freeze-Frame“ Activity: Encouraging students to pause and reflect on social scenarios in real-time .
Through these activities, our students aren’t just learning ”the rules“ - they are discovering the deep importance of showing respect and empathy toward others in every interaction.
The learning continued even after the bell rang . Our P.5 teachers were joined by Ms. Yip, the curriculum development officer from EDB , for an insightful post-lesson evaluation . This professional exchange allowed us to reflect on our teaching strategies and ensure that our use of technology truly enhances our students‘ character development .
