學校歷史 School History
太古小學原名為太古漢文學校,於一九二三年由太古船塢及機器有限公司所創辦,並於一九四七年起接受政府資助成為津貼小學。為配合學校的發展,太古集團撥款約一億五千萬港元興建一所設備齊全的千禧校舍。新校舍於二零零二年九月開始啟用,並轉為一所全日制小學。
Taikoo Primary School, originally known as Taikoo Chinese School, was founded in 1923 by Taikoo Dockyards and Machinery Company Limited and became an aided primary school in 1947. In line with the school's development, the Swire Group invested approximately HK$150 million in the construction of a fully-equipped Millennium School building. The new campus opened in September 2002 and was converted into a whole-day primary school.

The Swire Group Charitable Trust (Swire Trust) is part of the Swire Group. It aims to effect positive change in the areas of Education, Marine Conservation, and the Arts by supporting registered non-profit organisations, primarily in Hong Kong. Taikoo Primary School is one of the examples of promoting education by Swire Trust.
